In Memoriam

Graham Downey passed away peacefully on December 14, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Graham is lovingly remembered by his wife Norma; his daughters Monica Messier (Shawn) and Colleen Peters (Norm); his beloved grandchildren Branden, Kayla, Morgan, and Sydney; and his sister Marg Milner (Rick).

Graham was born in Edmonton but spent his younger years in Canoe, BC and Barrhead, AB. After spending two years surveying in the jungles of Indonesia, Graham became a Realtor, and remained a member of the Edmonton Real Estate Board for over 55 years as well as a member of the Appraisal Institute for over 50 years.

Graham was a Master Mason and was a member of Patricia Lodge #91 as well as the Al Shamal Shriner's Club. He was a member of Scottish Rite and the Royal Order of Scotland.

Graham was blessed with a loving family and many wonderful friends whom he met through various organizations including Jaycees, Rotary Club, Real Estate, Racquetball, and the Derrick Club; as well as many other endeavors that he was involved with. Graham was a man of integrity and a true and loyal friend. His life was one well-spent and he will be forever missed by his family, friends and community.
