The upcoming 30th AEA Annual Conference will be held on Thursday, October 12th to Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at the Banff Park Lodge Resort Hotel and Conference Centre (222 Lynx Street, Banff, Alberta)

Please note we will not be providing binders with the printed presentations this year. If you'd like a copy of the presentations so you can follow along, you can visit the 2017 AEA Fall Conference presentations page and download or print the presentations. Presentations will be posted to this page as they become available.
In addition to the presentations, we have a wine and cheese reception on Thursday evening. The Friday evening begins with a cocktail reception and a fabulous sit-down dinner. In keeping with the popular traditions, a casino event and silent auction will be held after dinner. The worthy charity benefiting from the proceeds of the silent auction will be the Jim Prentice Memorial Scholarship. We look forward to your generous donations! The Jim Prentice Memorial Scholarship was created as a means of honoring the life of Jim Prentice, who among other things served as our Association’s first President. This is to be an annual scholarship awarded to a University of Calgary Law Student. The AEA initiated this scholarship program several months ago and we are hoping to reach our fundraising goal of $20,000 prior to this year's Conference, so that a scholarship can be awarded for the 2018-19 university term. For those individuals and corporate entities planning to contribute to the endowment for funding this Scholarship we encourage you to make a donation directly using the following link. Registration:
Your registration fee includes three morning and afternoon coffee and tea nutrition breaks, two breakfast buffets, a lunch and the dinner banquet.
A companions dinner banquet can be added for $65 at the time of registration.
Please indicate if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions during your online registration process.
Even if paying by cheque, you can still complete registration online. Please include a copy of the invoice when mailing in your cheque.
